Chappaqua garage addition

CLIENT:  Stanley & Marjorie Fell
PROJECT LOCATION:  Chappaqua
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  Two car garage addition
PROJECT MANAGER:  Sylvain Côté
AGE OF STRUCTURE:  1960's
SQUARE FOOTAGE OF JOB:  450
STARTING DATE:  October 1996
COMPLETION DATE:  November 1996
AVERAGE PRICE RANGE ON SIMILAR PACKAGES*:  $35,000 - $40,000
DETAILS:  This one car garage was dark, damp and its flat roof was just about to collapse. It was also too small to accommodate any of the family's five bigger cars.

Absolute Remodeling along with Architect Thomas M.  Leigh AIA, went to the drawing board and within two days blueprints were ready.

A new garage was the answer. To keep the renovation 'cost effective', the existing foundation was salvaged.

The new two car garage was built to match the details of the existing home [the roof pitch, the hand split cedar shingles and the 1" x 12" vertical siding].

The interiors came completely equipped with efficient lighting, pull down attic stairway, heavy duty 7' workbench and extra deep, heavy duty shelving, bicycle racks, etc.

Less than four weeks were necessary to complete the project, including landscaping and stone walkway.
*Price based on similar existing conditions, building supplies, square footage and other various factors and therefore subject to change.
